Citation Edit

General Accounting Office, Year 2000 Computing Challenge: Federal Business Continuity and Contingency Plans and Day One Strategies (GAO/T-AIMD-00-40) (Oct. 29, 1999) (full-text).

Overview Edit

The GAO found that the government has made noteworthy progress since early 1998 in business continuity and contingency planning for Y2K, but more work remains. With respect to Day One strategies, although 40 percent of agencies addressed all of the Office of Management and Budget's elements in their submissions, it is clear that much more work remains.
