Voice Call Continuity (VCC)

allows the transference of an active call session from one technology to another (e.g., a call can be switched from cellular to WIFI as the subscriber enters a different environment). These networks will have disaggregated and geographically distributed network functions that encompass multiple databases, application servers or gateways.[1]
