United Nations Manual on the Prevention and Control of Computer-Related Crime (1994) (full-text).

Overview Edit

At the 8th Congress on the Prevention of Crime and the treatment of Offenders (held in Havana, Cuba, August 27-September 7, 1990), the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution dealing with computer crime legislation. Based on its UN General Assembly Resolution 45/121 (1990), the U.N. published this manual in 1994.

The manual includes fraud, forgery, computer sabotage, unauthorized access, and copying of computer programs as examples of computer crime.
