Open data

This Plan outlines new commitments as well as plans for enhancements and releases of certain data assets across the categories set forth by the Open Data Charter. The United States commits to the following actions in concert with the Open Data Charter and its principles:

1. Publish open data in a discoverable, machine-readable, useful way.
2. Work with the public and civil society organizations to prioritize open data sets for release.
3. Support innovators and improve open data based on feedback.
4. Continue to release and enhance high-priority data sets.
