Overview[]
This report, a follow-up to the previous report (The Emerging Digital Economy), provides more information about that growth and the changes that are taking place in the U.S. economy. It details the contribution that telecommunications and information technology are making to economic expansion, and provides evidence that the massive investments being made in these sectors are producing gains in productivity and that these sectors are creating new and higher paying jobs faster than any other sector.
