The Tactical Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (T-SCIF) is

[a]n area, room, group of rooms, building, or installation accredited for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)-level processing, storage, and discussion that is used for operational exigencies (actual or simulated) for a specified period of time not exceeding 1 year.[1]
