The Chinese State Network and Information Security Coordination Small Group (SNISCSG)

was formed as a subgroup of SILG; it focuses on network and information security and facilitates the promotion of information security protection systems and information security management and operation (Document 27: Opinions for Strengthening Information Security Assurance Work) and approved major network security-related policies and national strategies. The SNISCSG disbanded in 2008 and was reconstituted in 2009. . . . in February 2014, China announced the establishment of a Central Network Security and Informatization Leading Small Group.[1]
