Definition Edit

SPIT (an acronym for SPam over Internet Telephony) refers to unsolicited advertising distributed via Voice over IP (VoIP). Unlike traditional spam email messages, which average only 10–20 kilobytes in file size, unwanted VoIP voicemails can require megabytes of storage.
