A short-range UAV is

a pilotless aircraft resembling a small airplane that can be controlled from a ground station. . . . It is to accomplish its various missions by flying over enemy territory and transmitting video imagery back to ground stations for use by military commanders.[1]

Overview Edit

"[T]he Short-Range system is required to operate in areas marked by billy or mountainous terrain with dense forests and other vegetation and by varied climatic conditions such as cloudy weather, rain, snow, and other factors."[2]
