Definitions Edit

The terms shall and shall not

indicate that the procurement language element in which these terms appear is to be strictly followed if the Acquirer and Supplier agree to adopt the language in their procurement contract.[1]

"The word shall is

equivalent to 'is required to' and used to indicate mandatory requirements strictly to be followed to conform to the standard and from which no deviation is permitted."[2]
