Definition Edit

Severability refers to a contract provision which permits unenforceable provisions to be deleted from the contract without affecting the remaining terms of the contract.

Sample severability clause Edit

If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid, void or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the other provisions of this Agreement will remain in full force and effect.
