Overview Edit

An SAS 70 Report (Statement of Auditing Standards (SAS) 70 review - “Reports on the Processing of Transactions by Service Organizations”) is the result of an independent review and is intended for the financial auditors of a service provider’s clients. Type I report describes controls at the service provider at a point in time. Type II report is based on testing of controls over a given period of time. Reports may contain user considerations for controls that may be needed by the institution.
