Cloud computing[]

Response time is the

[t]ime interval between a cloud service customer initiated event (stimulus) and a cloud service provider initiated event in response to that stimulus.[1]

General[]

Response time is

the time between the last keystroke of a command enter by a user and the execution of that command by the computer system.
[r]ound-trip delay from a network application source through destination, back to the application source.[2]
