Resistance is "[t]he property of a conducting device to resist the flow of current through it.[1]

Security Edit

Resistance is accomplished when a security threat or hazard damage potential is limited through interdiction, redirection, avoidance, or neutralization efforts. The entire system experiences less damage than would otherwise be the case.
