Overview Edit

This study looks at the resilience of the Internet interconnection ecosystem. The Internet is a network of networks, and the interconnection ecosystem is the collection of layered systems that holds it together. The interconnection ecosystem is the core of the Internet, providing the basic function of reaching anywhere from everywhere. The sections of the report are:

Part I: Summary and Recommendations
Part II: State of the Art Review (a detailed description of the Internet's routing mechanisms and analysis of their robustness at the technical, economic and policy levels.)
Part III: Report on the Consultation (a broad range of stakeholders were consulted. This part reports on the consultation and summarizes the results).
Part IV: Bibliography and Appendices.
