The design of the comprehensive study of cybercrime was developed by the open-ended intergovernmental expert group on the comprehensive study of the problem of cybercrime. The aim of the study is to examine options to strengthen existing and to propose new national and international legal or other responses to cybercrime. The topics encompass an analysis of the problem of cybercrime, legal responses to cybercrime, prevention and criminal justice capabilities in responding to cybercrime, international efforts, and technical assistance.
