Overview Edit

The Regional Terrorism Threat Assessment Centers (RTTAC) generate regionally-based terrorism information sharing products and act as the terrorism and situational information sharing conduit between federal and state agencies. The RTTACs are also responsible for coordinating homeland security information collection, analysis and dissemination with other public safety agencies that engage in terrorism prevention efforts or consequence response. The RTTACs also liaison with critical infrastructure and key resource entities that are both vital to the public community and also vulnerable to terrorist acts.
