An RF Subsystem is

the portion of the RFID system that uses radio frequencies to perform identification and related transactions. The RF subsystem consists of two components: an reader and an tag.[1]

Overview Edit

Both the RFID tag and the reader are two-way radios. Each has an antenna and is capable of modulating and demodulating radio signals.
