Overview[]
The objective of this report was to examine current U.S. Government and industry network security strategies to determine whether alternative strategies might more effectively diminish risk and, if appropriate, make recommendations regarding those alternatives. The study focused on those network security efforts intended to diminish the risks from unauthorized access to or activity in an information system and does not address physical security.
