Definition Edit

A program library is

[a] collection of available computer programs and routines, or portions of programs. The contents of the Library are stored for reuse. If they are complete programs, they may be simply reused as is. Parts of programs may be copied into other programs to reduce labor and standardize the use of those copied parts in new programs.[1]
