Definition Edit

Objectives are

specific and measurable targets for accomplishing goals, which are usually short term with a target time frame. In contrast to goals, objectives are specific, quantifiable, and time-bound statements of desired accomplishments or results. As such, objectives represent intermediate achievements necessary to achieve goals.[1]

Overview Edit

"Objectives can have different aspects (such as financial, health and safety, and environmental goals) and can apply at different levels (such as strategic, organization-wide, project, product and process)."[2]
