The Norwegian Research Center for Computers and Law (NRCCL) is the second oldest academic institution in the world working specifically on the interrelationship of law and information/communication technology.

From the very beginning, the NRCCL has been best internationally oriented. The institute is — and has been — a partner in numerous international projects. Today, the NRCCL is one of the leading institutions internationally in the field of information/communication technology law. With an academic staff of approximately fifteen full-time professors and the researchers, the NRCCL has expertise in all major areas of information/communication technology law.
