Definition Edit

Network authorization is an authorization mechanism performed at a central, authorization server, providing access to a user’s account from one or more workstations on the network. The key is that access is to a single user account. If the user requires multiple accounts, then each is a separate authorization and handled in like manner to multiple users.[1]
