The Network Working Group (NWG) consisted of the first four nodes of the ARPANET, which were installed at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), the Stanford Research Institute (SRI) in Menlo Park, California, the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB), and the University of Utah.
