National Stolen Property Act (NSPA), Act of May 22, 1934, 48 Stat. 794 (1934), codified at 18 U.S.C. §§2314, 2315 (full-text).

Overview[]

The NSPA prohibits the transportation, receipt and sale of certain stolen goods across state lines. The Act only applies to goods of a value of $5,000 or more. The Act does not apply to the act of counterfeiting money, or any other bond or security that may be issued by the state or federal government.
