American Bar Association Standing Committee on Law and National Security & National Strategy Forum, National Security Threats in Cyberspace (Sept. 2009) (full-text).

Overview Edit

As the United States continues the development of its cybersecurity policy, the time is ripe for reflection and an examination of first principles. To that end a two‐day workshop was held in Annapolis, Maryland on June 4‐5, 2009. The workshop brought together more than two dozen experts with diverse backgrounds: physicists; telecommunications executives; Silicon Valley entrepreneurs; Federal law enforcement, military, homeland security, and intelligence officials; Congressional staffers; and civil liberties advocates.

For those two days they engaged in an open‐ended discussion of cyber policy as it relates to national security. This workshop report is the result of that discussion.
