The National Security Council Principals Committee (NSC/PC) is

[t]he senior interagency forum for consideration of policy affecting national security. The regular members of the NSC/PC consist of the Secretary of State, the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Defense, the Chief of Staff to the President, and the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs, who serves and chair.[1]
