Overview[]

This document outlines the fundamental values, priorities, and orientation of the Intelligence Community. As directed by the Director of National Intelligence, the strategy outlines the specific mission objectives that relate to efforts to predict, penetrate, and preempt threats to national security. To accomplish this, the efforts of the different enterprises of the Intelligence Community are integrated through policy, doctrine, and technology, and by ensuring that intelligence efforts are appropriately coordinated with the U.S.’s homeland security mission.
