Overview[]

The National Directorate for Personal Data Protection (Dirección Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales) (DNPDP) is the national body established by the Argentina government to protect personal data. It is responsible for the registration and control of databases containing personal information.

It advises and assists personal data holders and receives complaints and claims made against those responsible for the records, files, or databases for violating the rights of individuals in the treatment of personal data.
