The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration operates three data centers:
- National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC)
- National Climatic Data Center (NCDC)
- National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC)
Also, the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) in Boulder, Colorado is operated for NGDC by the University of Colorado.
