The NATO Communication and Information Systems Services Agency (NCSA) is responsible for provision of technical and operational cyber security services throughout NATO and oversees NCIRC. It is a service provider to NATO. It provides communication and information systems (CIS) services. It is NATO's first line of defense against cyberterrorism and encompasses the NATO Information Assurance Technical Centre (NIATC) and NATO Computer Incident Response Capability (NCIRC).
