The NASA Integrated Services Network Mission and Corporate Network (NISN) is

[c]omprised of a mission network segment managed by [Goddard Space Flight Center] and a corporate network segment managed by [Marshall Space Flight Center]. The mission network segment (also known as the Internet Protocol Operational Network) provides telecommunications systems and services for mission control, science data handling, and program administration. Its customer base includes all agency centers and headquarters, the DSN, most flight mission programs, contractors, international partners, academia, and government agencies.[1]
