Overview Edit

NACHA, the Electronic Payments Association, (formerly the National Automated Clearing House Association) was formed in 1974 to establish uniform operating rules for the exchange of ACH payments.

NACHA's primary roles are to develop and maintain the NACHA Operating Rules, to promote growth in ACH volume, and to provide educational services to its members and other ACH participants. NACHA's member payments associations serve over 12,000 financial institutions across the United States.
