The U.S. Surgeon General's My Family Health Portrait is a free web-based tool for family history collection that is standards-based and potentially interoperable with EHR systems. Recently an inter-agency NIH working group has been established to address future governance of MFHP. Future activities include the development of clinical decision support tools for common heritable conditions that are compatible with MFHP.[1]
