Definition Edit

Multimedia computing is

the use of text, sound, and images (which might be moving or still). The use of multimedia online, for example sending video to a remote computer via telecommunications, is constrained by bandwidth. One aspect of multimedia is video on demand, which is predominantly for entertainment, but could also provide public access videos about the local environment, planning proposals, social security, training materials, etc.[1]
