Lynx is the brand name used by Texas Instruments for the IEEE 1394 interface.

Software Edit

Lynx was a computer program used to access the World Wide Web. It was a web client program that requested data from a Web server. It did not have any graphics capabilities, meaning you could not view graphics or images, but a user could view text from web pages. It was a useful way to access the Web using a slow modem.
