Overview Edit

The Local Telecommunications Advisory Council was established in 1997 by the Office of Management and Budget. The LTAC was formed to provide leadership in implementing the local telecommunications services policy. The LTAC facilitated agency aggregation of requirements, allowed sharing of telecommunications expertise, improved knowledge of service pricing and competition in different geographic areas, and otherwise assisted Federal organizations in making better decisions on using their individual and collective telecommunications resources.
