Overview Edit

The INTERPOL Working Parties on Information Technology (IT) Crime were created to facilitate the development of strategies, technologies and information on the latest IT crime methods. Members of the working parties are police experts in the field of IT crime, and are usually the heads or experienced members of national computer crime units.

The main activities of the working parties include:

  • Exchanging information on recent trends in cybercrime in their region;
  • Supporting INTERPOL in delivering/organizing training workshops;
  • Enhancing operational cooperation among member countries through periodic meetings;
  • Creating materials for regional law enforcement agencies.
