Overview[]
This report provides overviews of a number of technology policy issues being debated by Congress, which relate to the growth of the Internet. The appendices provide a list of acronyms, and a discussion of legislation passed in earlier Congresses.
Other issues that are not directly related to technology could also affect the use and growth of the Internet, such as intellectual property rights and Internet taxation. They are not addressed in this report. Further, this report does not attempt to track legislation.
