The International Forum on the White Paper (IFWP) was a group of organizations that came together to formulate a response to the Department of Commerce's White Paper policy statement on the domain name system. The IFWP held several meetings around the world, but never held a final meeting or produced a proposal for the Department. However, those who wanted to continue the IFWP’s work formed the Boston Working Group[1] (which did provide a proposal to the Department of Commerce.
