The mission of the International Centre of Excellence for Local eDemocracy (ICELE) is to help local authorities improve two-way engagement with communities by providing best practice advice, support and practical solutions, focusing on the use of technology. ICELE is one of 22 local e-Government National Projects initiated by the Office of the British Deputy Prime Minister to help deliver the national strategy for local e-government.
