The Institute for Information and Communication Technologies (Istituto superiore delle comunicazioni e delle tecnologie dell'informazione) (ISCOM) operates within the Italian Ministry of Economic Development-Communications as a technical-scientific body. Its activities are directed specifically towards companies operating in the ICT sector, the government and users, and is fundamentally about business services, standardization, testing and basic research and applied research, training and education specializing in field of telecommunications.
