Overview Edit

The three types of indefinite-delivery contractsdefinite-quantity, requirements, and indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contracts — are alike in that they provide for the vendor to deliver goods or services to the procuring activity at future dates unspecified at the time of contracting. They differ in the quantity of goods or services that the procuring activity must order and, thus, in the circumstances in which they are generally used.
