Overview Edit

The High-Speed Education Connection was a program begun in 1996 in which the cable television industry pledged to equip at least one site in every consenting elementary and secondary school passed by cable's high-speed services with a cable modem providing basic high-speed access to the Internet, free of charge.[1]
