The Archives advises state agencies and local governments of appropriate recordskeeping techniques and systems, provides training in a variety of records management topics, and guides agencies in the development and use of retention schedules. The Archives operates the State Records Center. . . . The mission of the Records and Information Management Services Program is to promote the efficient administration and management of Georgia governments' records in compliance with the Georgia Records Act.[1]
