The General Directorate for the Information Technology and Postal Services (DiGITIP), a unit of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment[1] (MEIE), is responsible for France's national telecommunications policy. Created in November 1998, the DiGITIP proposes and implements policies to promote an industrial and competitive environment favorable to France's communications industry, both domestically and internationally.
