Overview[]
The General Council of Industry, Energy and Technology (Le Conseil général de l'industrie, de l'énergie et des technologies) (CGIET) operats under the authority of the Minister of Economy and the Ministers of Industry and Electronic Communications. CGIET is qualified in the following areas.:
- economic development and industry;
- information technology, electronic communications, computer, audiovisual, space technology and postal sectors;
- energy, mining and mineral resources and use of basement.
The CGIET is also responsible for all activities related to these areas, particularly in terms of associated services, technology, research, training, metrology, industrial safety and technological risks.
