Future public land mobile telecommunication systems

Overview

Future public land mobile telecommunication systems (FPLMTS) was a concept developed in the CCIR for future mobile services, including PCS. It is the original name for the International Telecommunications Union's concept for third-generation wireless telephone systems. It was renamed IMT-2000.
