Definition Edit

Form grabbing (also spelled form-grabbing) is

[a] malware technique that can steal your website sign in information or change the web content that you see.[1]
[a] more advanced type of keylogging where the data is captured from browser forms, before data is sent over the internet to a secure server. This method is able to acquire data regardless of input method (i.e. through the use of virtual keyboard, auto-fill or copy and paste). It only records data specified by the cyber adversary, and logs which website data origin, such as IP address and URL.[2]
