Since it deals with signals that are not exchanged by humans, it is a subset of ELINT, which, in turn, is a subset of SIGINT. It includes but are not limited to telemetry, beaconry, electronic interrogators, and video data links. "SIGINT provides intelligence on threat intentions, capabilities, composition, and dispositions. In addition, SIGINT provides targeting information for the delivery of lethal and nonlethal fires effects.
